This graphic offers a thorough and accurate explanation of how to refer to England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Wales in their various groupings.  Yes, it matters.  A lot.  Just walk in a pub in Wales and start yammering loudly about how much you are enjoying this little English town if you don’t believe me.

Did you know that Shailene Woodley is cutting off all her hair in order to play Hazel Grace (cancer patient and protagonist extraordinaire) in the film adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars?  It’s all happening this weekend!  This is groundbreaking news in the world of hair tabloids, right?!  Here’s the good part of the story- she’s donating it to Children With Hair Loss (an organization that makes wigs for kids who have lost their hair due to cancer, burns, and other medical conditions).  Lots of Nerdfighters are joining in and chopping off their locks- care to join?

These Close Ups of “Game of Thrones” Fashion Will Take Your Breath Away–  No kidding!  As a lover of fiber arts, fantasy worlds, addictive television, and obsessive attention to detail, I thoroughly approve.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this BBC mini-series of Great Expectations.  The cinematography was so fantastically dramatic and creepy, and the acting was fantastic.  I particularly enjoyed Gillian Anderson as Miss Havisham.  It’s streaming on Netflix- go check it out!

I listened to an Alice in Wonderland audiobook this weekend.  There are three fantastic things about this: 1. The story is completely off the wall.  2. It only took a round trip journey to San Francisco to listen to the whole thing.  3.  It was free!  Lit2Go makes audiobooks of classic novels- then offers them for free!  I downloaded mine from itunes, but their website is here.
